There are various strategies that you need to apply while playing in the pre-flop. In the pre-flop or the opening round the players are dealt with two hole cards by the dealer. Hole cards are cards that are dealt face down and can be viewed only by the concerned players the hole cards are private and hence cannot be viewed by other players. After the players view their hole cards they begin staking their clay poker chips and the bet in community poker games like Texas Holdem begins with placing blind the both big blind and the small blind.
The big blind is usually double the small blind and once the blinds are placed each player starts betting their clay chips. In the pre-flop the player has got only limited information of his hand hence they cannot determine whether they would attain a strong hand or not. The pocket aces are the highest hand that you can posses in the pre-flop round and you should never play slow with pocket aces. In the pre-flop you can also observe the other players and watch their ‘tell’ and play accordingly.
